KARACHI: Umrah pilgrims stranded in Saudi Arabia have appealed to the government of Pakistan for help to return.

According to details, flights from Gulf countries to Saudi Arabia have been suspended due to fears of the Coronavirus, which cause of Pakistani Umrah pilgrims stranded to Saudi Arabia.

Pakistani Umrah pilgrims have run out of hotel fares, there is no money to buy other airlines tickets, on which the pilgrims have appealed to the government of Pakistan to help them to return back.

Be aware that people coming to Saudi Arabia from different countries, including Pakistan, have been banned, except those who are citizens of Saudi Arabia or hold a residence visa and those who wish to return to their home country, Cargo flights can also be operated for Saudi Arabia, and those with medical visas or new medical visas can travel to Saudi Arabia.

In this regard, the PIA has completed arrangements for the emigrants to return from Saudi Arabia, PIA will bring the pilgrims from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan via 6 special flights, According to spokesman PIA, flights will be operated on March 14 and 15. It is to be noted that Saudi Aviation gave a 72-hour ultimatum to travelers from all countries including Pakistan to leave from Saudi Arabia.
