Two million dirhams will be rewarded for payment of government fees, the Dubai government announced

Dubai: The United Arab Emirates Department of Finance has announced that the government will award a gift of two million dirhams to those who pay a fixed fee.

According to Gulf Times report, Dubai Department of Finance launches campaign on Sunday and gives good news to the citizens of UAE, they said that the purpose of the move is that citizens pay the government fee and whoever will do so will be given a gift of two million dirhams from the government.

According to the Treasury Department, the offer is limited to the campaign, which began on March 8 and will continue until April 7, 2020.

Abdul Rahman Saleh, director-general of the finance department, said that the lucky citizen to submit online government fees would be termed as 'smart pay', the government fee meant utility taxes.

One citizen will be selected through draw every week Thus, in April, hundreds of lucky people will be given prizes by the Treasury Department.

He said, four lucky people, will be given new model vehicles, while the rest will be given smartphones, tablets and smartwatches.

He said that the project had been in the works for the last three years, our target is that every citizen of the state should pay a government fee and prove his full responsibility.

Remember that the Dubai government has introduced an online service for payment of government fees, which has been renamed as Smart Channel. The list of lucky citizens will be released on the Dubai Government website.
