The Turkish President said that with my stepping into Islamabad, I am deeply grateful to the people of Pakistan and the high officials on the way in which the people of Pakistan received their happiness and love. You do not feel in a foreign country.

Rajab Tayyab Erdogan said today that Pakistan-Turkey relations are enviable for everyone, Zaheer-ud-din Babar, the founder of Sultanate Mughal rule, has maintained the government for nearly 350 years in all the region including present-day Pakistan and has left unchanged marks on our common history. ۔

He said that in 1915 when the Turkish army was defending the Chinak fort, demonstrations and rallies on this land 6,000 km away from this front have been recorded on the unforgettable pages of our history.

Continuing his remarks, he said that the Chinak fort was the focus of these historic rallies in Lahore; the organizers of the rallies were actually in the Chanak fort for the purpose of assisting Turkish soldiers and the Turkish people.
