The salary I get does not cover the cost of the house, PM
Prime Minister Imran Khan says that the country cannot progress until the proper payment of tax while standing on its own feet cannot earn respect in the world.
Addressing the ceremony in Islamabad, Prime Minister Imran Khan said, "The agreement between the economic team and the traders is a happy one; the traders, especially the small traders, helped me through the difficult times. The small traders and students for Shaukat Khanum Hospital gave heart. Opening a donation, however, the traders who funded Shaukat Khanum were behind in paying tax and due to non-taxation, the traders had no faith in the system.
He said, "When the rulers lived the lives of the kings with taxes, who would pay the taxes? The former rulers used to spend money on the people as oil streams were flowing. They put their money out and made money from the people's money.". '
The Prime Minister said, "The rulers of the developed nations pay a penny for the people's tax. We have reduced the expense of the Prime Minister's House and the Prime Minister's Office by Rs 30 to 40 million, though it is expensive, today I am home. I take care of myself, do not take from the treasury while the salary I get does not cover the cost of the house. '
He went on to say that if he went abroad, he spent less than the expenses of the former rulers. For the first time, the Pakistan Army reduced its spending.
