According to ARY News, passenger Mohammad Akhtar arriving at Islamabad airport via PK-262 from Abu Dhabi had left his wallet in Trolley, which was taken by CAA Porter Zar Qureshi.
The passenger's wallet contained 2940 UAE dirhams and 1450 Pakistani rupees, but Porter Zar Qureshi had faithfully handed over the wallet to duty terminal manager. Later the duty terminal manager contacted the passenger Mohammad Akhtar and called him back and returned the wallet.
Passenger Mohammad Akhtar thanked the CAA Porter and the officers for the refund.
It is to be remembered that on February 4 this month, a woman had arrived in Dubai by forgetting jewellery worth millions at Karachi airport. Aisha Aijaz, a passenger along with husband on her way to Australia via Dubai by flight EK 609, Before boarding in the plane at Karachi airport counter, a bag full of expensive jewellery were forgotten.
The Civil Aviation Authority staff, after demonstrating duty and faith, handed over the bag to relatives of the woman.
