The Lahore High Court has dismissed a petition filed by Prime Minister Imran Khan's step-son Ibrahim Manika for the recover of two brothers arrested.

Justice Anwar-ul-Haq heard the petition in the High Court, where Ibrahim Manika appeared before the court.

During the hearing, the officer told the court that the applicant's brothers were in the custody of the police, who were arrested for being named in the fraud case.

The court later dealt with the request to recover of both brothers in light of the police report.

It should be noted that the police report submitted to the court at the previous hearing stated that the alleged abductors were neither wanted nor detained in any case.

It is to be noted that the petitioner Mohammed Hassan had taken the position that both of his brothers had business relations with Ibrahim Manika, son of Bushra Bibi and her ex-husband Khawar Maneka.

He said that one of his brothers, Ijaz Ahmed, had asked Ibrahim Manika for a car which was damaged in an accident, but then Ibrahim Manica started demanding a large sum of money.

The petitioner alleged that Ibrahim Manika while being an influential person, kidnapped both his brothers Ijaz and Ahsan with the help of local police.

He said he went to release his brothers but refused to do so till payment of Rs 15 crore.
