The first locally-transmitted case of the Corona virus in Pakistan

The global epidemic affecting the world is also spreading in Pakistan and most of the Sindh province's capital Karachi is being affected and another new case has been confirmed here.

According to the Sindh Health Department, a 52-year-old man arrived in Karachi from Islamabad two days ago in which the Coronavirus was confirmed.

According to the provincial health department, the total number of coronavirus cases has increased to 15 in Sindh out of which 14 cases were reported in Karachi and one in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, Health Sindh Sindh Media Coordinator Miran Yousaf, while talking, confirmed that the new case in Karachi was a local transfer because the patient did not travel abroad.

In this regard, the Sindh Health Department said in a tweet on the social relations website Twitter that 2 out of the total cases of Sindh have recovered while the remaining 13 are in stable condition.

In another tweet, the Health Department said that a total of 251 people were tested across Sindh, out of which 15 were positive and 236 were negative.

It is pertinent to mention that the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country is 21, with the highest number of patients after Karachi being from Gilgit-Baltistan.

It is to be noted that a special portal has also been issued by the federal government to find out the latest status of Coronavirus in the country and the number of new cases.
