LONDON: A 99-year-old military captain has raised nearly corror 20 million for medical staff following a devastating coronavirus outbreak in Britain.
For this, he has used a special method in which he has completed 100 rounds of 25 meters despite his old age. The campaign has received extraordinary fame around the world and people from all over the world have piled money on it. Thus, this amount is more than three billion in Pakistani rupees.
The money is being used to help people who are exposed to the Coronavirus on the front, including doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff.
So far 9 million people have donated money to them, even the royal family, politicians, and public figures have praised their role. Tom Moore will be one hundred years old next month, and he calls it a great birthday present. He wanted to donate a thousand pounds to the National Health Service on the occasion of his birthday but billions of rupees have been collected.
