Sehwan: 'Girl Abused in Court Chamber', Case filed against civil judge

In the Chamber of Sehwan sharif province of Sindh province, a girl has come to the court to prosecute the alleged sexual abuse in the chamber from a girl, Salma Brohi.

A case has been registered in the case of Station House Officer (SHO) Sehwan sharif Mazhar Naich, in which a civil judge, Imtiaz Bhutto, has been nominated.

The case was registered at Sehwan Police Station under Sections 376 (Abuse) and 506 (Harassment) of Pakistan Penal Code.

It is pertinent to mention that yesterday, DSP Sehwn, Bashir Konohar recorded the statement of the girl Salma Brohi in Darraman of Larkana and handed over the report to the top authorities, after which orders were filed to prosecute the incident and police registered a case.

It is understood that the Sindh High Court had suspended him on charges of raping a woman allegedly posted by a judicial magistrate in Sehwan.

According to a statement issued by the Sindh High Court, Chief Justice Ahmed Ali M Sheikh directed the judicial magistrate to report the High Court immediately after violating the code of conduct.

Sources said that the couple, who wanted to leave the house for their preferred marriage, was presented to the Judicial Magistrate on January 13 by police.

He said that the girl who lodged a complaint with the Sehwan sharif police called the magistrate in his chamber and asked all the staff and women police personnel there to go and then raped the girl.

According to sources, the girl was brought to Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Sciences in Sehwan for medical examination.

Sources further said that in light of the instructions of the Sindh High Court, the District and Sessions Judge of Jamshoro conducted a preliminary investigation into the matter and reported it to the High Court.
