Rizwan Beyg and Sahir Ali Bagga to be honored with Civil Award

A proud moment for Pakistan indeed, as a blooming name in Pakistan’s upraising media industry, an eminent singer and composer Sahir Ali Bagga will be recognized for his talents and efforts for the state.

A surging name in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, singer-composer Sahir Ali Bagga will be recognised for his services too, the recognized star Sahir Ali Bagga is a Pakistani singer, music director and composer from Lahore, who is known for composing music and art for the national and international industry.

On August 14, our President Dr Arif Alvi approved the conferment of the Pakistan Civil Award for 116 individuals, from within the country as well as some foreign nationals in recognition of their excellence in their respective fields.

On the other hand, fashion designer Rizwan Beyg is set to receive the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, the highest civilian award in Pakistan. This award is to admire and respect all his valuable efforts in advancing and imrproving the fashion industry, from pulling off unforgettable fashion shows and representing the country on an international level to designing a dress for late Princess Diana.

Bagga has not been coming slow, his impressive talent and fashion sense in numerous film and television scores to his credit with some of his most prominent works for cinema being Zinda Bhaag, Dukhtar, Maalik, Jawani Phir Nahi Aani and many more.

The investiture ceremony will take place on Pakistan Day, March 23, 2020, according to a press release issued by the Cabinet Secretariat.
