WASHINGTON: Pakistan approves US federal court to withhold $ 6 billion in fines in a racket case.

According to the report, the Australian Copper Company Tethyan Copper Company Private Limited won a record mining case in Balochistan last year, after which Pakistan was decided to pay $ 6 billion to the company.

Pakistan took the stand in federal court that 'the implementation of the decision will have disastrous consequences on their political and economic stability'.

In a briefing submitted to the court, Pakistan said 'Tethyan should not be allowed to take legal action'
