ISLAMABAD: Leaders of opposition parties announced the end of ongoing sit-ins on highways and roads across the country.
Talking to the media after the meeting of the Rahbar Committee, the head of the committee, Akram Khan Durrani said, "The Rahbar Committee has decided not to close the highways and roads, so the protesters should open the highways and roads immediately."
He said, "The people are fed up with inflation and the government has failed completely. The opposition is united while Nawaz Sharif's departure has taken over the government."
Akram Durrani said, "The Leader's Committee has decided to call the Opposition's All-Party Conference (APC) and Maulana Fazlur Rehman will determine the date of contact with the leaders in this regard, to increase pressure on the government at the district level. The meetings will be held and the Leadership Committee of the opposition will hold a joint public meeting.
He said that the Rahbar Committee will demand a hearing on a daily basis in the PTI's foreign funding case before the Election Commission tomorrow.

Speaking on the occasion, PML-N leader and leader of the committee, Ahsan Iqbal, said that to ensure the protection of all sections, there should be no delay in departing this government.
