Islamabad: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader and Federal Minister for Information Technology Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has not attended the cabinet after that PML-Q Minister Housing Tariq Bashir Cheema did not attend the meeting. Pointed to separating paths from the cabinet.

According to the report, Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar will meet with a delegation of PML-Q today (Wednesday) to resolve the grievances of the coalition government.

In addition, Prime Minister Imran Khan has set up a committee headed by Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, which will meet angry allies and remove their concerns.

He will also meet with the leaders of the Balochistan National Party today (Wednesday) in the federal capital.

Addressing a press conference after the Federal Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister's Assistant Special Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the MQM has taken away from the cabinet but will remain a coalition of the government. Bashir Cheema was not present at the cabinet meeting.

On the other hand, Information Minister of the PML-Q, Kamil Ali Agha, explained the reason for the absence of Tariq Bashir Cheema's cabinet meeting.

He said that his party has some genuine, legal and constitutional demands that Prime Minister Imran Khan is ignoring.

He said that PML-Q leader Mons Elahi had met the prime minister two weeks ago and had informed him of his party's complaints but to no avail.

"We were offered a federal ministry 10 months ago, but we refused and demanded the government to solve the people's problems and include the PML-Q in decision making," said Kamil Ali Agha. Was.

"Our reputation is at stake because when we meet people, they face complaints about rising inflation, unemployment and corruption," he said.

The PML-Q leader said that despite Prime Minister's assurance, our demands were not implemented.

However, he also said that the PML-Q would not split its path with the government for which the support of the PTI government in the centre and Punjab would continue.

In this regard, a member of the Federal Cabinet, on condition of anonymity, said that non-availability of development funds in Punjab was included in the complaints of PML-Q.

He said that the annual development program in Punjab is worth Rs 3 trillion 42 billion, out of which only Rs 70 billion has been released so far.
