Former PML-N leader and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi have termed the decision by party leader Nawaz Sharif not to have surgery in the absence of Maryam Nawaz.
Responding to questions from the host on the private channel 'ARY' program 'Off the Record', former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the statement of Maryam Nawaz for not having surgery was inappropriate.
"This statement is emotional because he has a daughter and Nawaz Sharif wants him to be with him," he said.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi raised the question, 'What is the reason for putting Maryam Nawaz's name in the Exit Control List'?
In addition, he said that the government does not like Nawaz Sharif's medical reports and can refer to the court if the report is authentic to him.
In addition, he said that the medical tests conducted, along with the report, should send the required test report to the government.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi raised the question as to whether Nawaz Sharif's medical reports are the biggest problem in Pakistan. Is it appropriate to discuss the health of an ailing person on channels?
To which the host of the program asked, 'You are saying this, the PML-N had been briefing on the news of Nawaz Sharif's departure from London before his medical condition'.
It should be noted that Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has confirmed that the federal government has written to the UK for the return of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi had said that 'the letter has been written and details will be revealed later.'
Question about the letter, Shah Khaqan Abbasi said that the present government wants to humiliate the country.
"I have also been in the position of prime minister but have never written a letter to foreign institutions," he said.
