National Accountability Bureau has Approved a Reference

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved a reference, 2 investigations and 4 investigations against alleged bureaucrats and politicians for alleged white-collar crimes.
An Executive Board meeting chaired by Chairman NAB approved the filing of a reference against the project director of the Irrigation Department of Balochistan Abdul Hamid and others.
He has been accused of illegally defrauding the Noor George Integrated Grand Scheme, which caused a loss of Rs 21.63 million to the national exchequer.
The NAB also approved two investigations against officers and officials of the Anti-Corruption Department and Revenue Department, Scheme 33, Gulzar Hijri Karachi.
Deputy Chairman NAB, Prosecutor General for Accountability, Director General of Operations and other senior officials attended the meeting. NAB said it has long been the policy of the Bureau to provide EBM details to the public so that no one is harmed, so the media has been instructed to avoid speculation in this regard.
