A statement from spokesperson NADRA said Sherry Rehman's allegation against the federal government regarding data sharing was "baseless".

"The government, like other provinces, is cooperating with Sindh," the organization said.

Addressing the federal government, Sherry Rehman said, "Cash aid is to be distributed. If you are not ready, why are you slowing down (Sindh's) steps"?

The Leader of the People's Party had asked, "Does the federal government, does this mean that Sindh will have to fight this global epidemic alone"?

Later, a message was also posted on NADRA's Verified account stating that NADRA denied the news regarding data sharing.

It is to be noted that the Sindh cabinet had announced ration for the poor and daily wage earners affected by the lockdown in the province.

After that, on March 29, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah told a cabinet meeting that a relief initiative has been prepared for the relief of the poor, which proposes to register daily wage earners with an identity card.
