Park Lane Case
The accountability court adjourned the indictment of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and other accused in the Park Lane reference.
The court directed the prosecution to present the accused to the accused and Anwar Majeed of the Omni group by air ambulance on February 11.
At the hearing, Judge of the Accountability Court, Azam Khan, provided copies of references to fake accounts to Abdul Ghani Majeed, Faryal Talpur and other accused.
During the arguments, Farooq H. Naik informed the court that since NAB is hearing the fake accounts case, it has filed only interim reference till now so the accused cannot be charged.
The NAB prosecutor said the bureau could also file a sub-reference after the investigation was completed. He requested the court to impose a charge against the accused against whom the investigation was completed.
Talking to reporters later, Advocate Farooq Naik said Park Lane and fake accounts were two separate references, adding that the NAB in the Park lane accused Asif Zardari while his sister Faryal Talpur and others were accused in the fake accounts reference. Is nominating.
Farooq Naik claimed that both references were baseless and malicious.
Further hearing of the case was postponed till February 11.
