More than 60 vehicles collided in the Virginia state of US
In the Virginia state of the US, about 50 people were injured in a collision with more than 60 vehicles on a motorway, while vehicles collided.
The condition of the two injured is reported to be critical.
The incident took place on Interstate Highway 64 near the city of Williamsburg around 8 am Sunday morning, and authorities are investigating it further.
Police say the accident was possibly caused by snowy and foggy weather.
In the photos of the scene it can be seen how the collision caused many vehicles to get into other vehicles, which caused the rescue personnel to be careful about reaching the injured.
It took several hours to remove the wrecked vehicle and re-open the road for traffic.
The driver of the truck, Ivan Levy, told the news agency AP that if he saw deep fog ahead, he would slow down and light the lights. 'The next thing I noticed was that the cars were climbing on top of each other.'
His wife, who was travelling in another car, also suffered the accident but did not suffer serious injuries.
