Prime Minister Imran Khan says the military confrontation between Iran and Saudi Arabia will be catastrophic for Pakistan and Islamabad is trying not to damage relations between the two countries.

"We are trying our best not to damage relations between the two countries; this is a region that cannot afford another conflict," he said.
Regarding peace in Afghanistan, he said, "Pakistan is doing its best for peace in Afghanistan and we pray that the Taliban, the United States and the Afghan government will work together to achieve the goal of peace."
