LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Monday granted bail to the PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif in the Chaudhri Sugar Mills case.
The Lahore High Court reserved the decision on October 31 at the request of the Vice-President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and sought bail in the corruption case.
During the last hearing, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor told the LHC that the applicant had sought bail for the care of his father Nawaz Sharif, however, there was no such guarantee in the law.
