Lahore: 2 important persons kidnapped; cases registered

LAHORE: Former Additional Advocate General Shahbaz Ahmed was abducted from Lahore's Gulberg area while SSP Mafakhar Adeel has been missing since last night.

According to details, former Additional Advocate General Shahbaz Ahmed was abducted from Gulberg area of Lahore.

Shahbaz Ahmed's brother Sajjad Ahmed says my brother is missing from the office, police say the case has been registered under the abduction provisions.

On the other hand, SSP Mafakhar Adeel has also been missing from the Johar Town area since last night. Police say that his mobile phone is switched off since last night.

Police say the SSPs left the house on a government vehicle last night, and their family has filed a case in Johar Town police station.

DIG Operations Rai Babar Saeed says SSP Mafakhar Adeel has been reported missing, police have launched an investigation.
