Indian Extremist Group Announces Not to Allow Pakistani Artists to Work

Mahira Khan, the superstar actor, was recently confirmed to be working on the small screen in neighboring India. In reality, Mahira Khan, Sarwat Gilani, Sania Saeed, Nimra Bucha, Yasra Rizvi, Irfan Khoosat, and Kanwal Khoosat have all been cast in Zee Entertainment's latest film.

Mahira Khan, Sania Saeed, Yasra Rizvi, and Sarwat Gilani will be seen reading the tale in a storytelling experiment called 'Yaar Julahy,' according to Zee Theaters' social media posts. However, Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Non-Man Sena (MNS), an Indian political party, has claimed that no Pakistani artist will be allowed to work in India.

"We will not allow Mahira Khan or any other Pakistani artist to work in Maharashtra or any part of the world," MNS Cinema Wing President Amiya Khopkar told the Times of India.

After actress Mahira Khan refused a bid from Zee Theater, the extremist political party issued a denial. In a recent interview with Anupam Chopra, Mahira Khan said that she had previously worked in India. "I was offered a lot of Indian shows," he said, "but I was afraid because of the situation."

"Now I believe whatever happened was political, and I hope we'll be able to share it online or in some other way," Mahira Khan said. The first part of the season, 'Yar July,' was broadcast on Zee Group channels on May 15 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, and was confirmed to be aired in 12 episodes. Mahira Khan and other showbiz celebrities will be seen reading novels and stories by well-known Urdu and Hindi authors in 'Yar Julahy,' and Mahira Khan will read Gadia by Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi.

Mahira Khan starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the romantic film Raees in 2017, but she was unable to attend any of the film's promotional events. It should be noted that Pakistani web series such as 'Churails' and 'Ek Jhoothi Love Story' was launched on Zee Five before Zee Theaters, and received no such criticism.
