Great news for Pakistan from Qatar
Islamabad: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Qatar will heavily invest in different sectors of Pakistan.
According to News, Special Assistant says that we welcome Qatar's interest in investment, development and project of prosperity in Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan held talks with Ameer-e-Qatar on bilateral relations and trade, Meanwhile, strengthening investment plans were also discussed.
On the social networking site Twitter, Firdous Ashiq Awan wrote in her tweet that investment in the tourism sector will boost tourism in Pakistan. Ameer-e-Qatar also discussed trade opportunities for Pakistani companies regarding the FIFA World Cup 2022.
She said that the Prime Minister apprised to the Ameer-e- Qatar of the violence against Muslims in India, The Prime Minister apprised of the grave situation in occupied Kashmir and human rights abuses. Both leaders expressed the determination to work together to promote peace in the region.
It is to be noted that the Foreign Ministry issued a declaration of Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit of Qatar, after which the heads of the two countries met (One on One) after which there were meetings at the delegation-level.
According to the statement, regional and global issues including bilateral relations were discussed during the meeting, while Prime Minister Imran Khan and Ameer-e- Qatar Tamim bin Hamdul Al-Thani also agreed to further strengthen the socio-economic partnership.
