Former Karachi City Nazim and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Naimatullah Khan died after a long illness.
Deputy Prince Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Dr Mirajul Hadi Siddiqui confirmed the death of Naimatullah Khan.
Naimatullah Khan was 90 years old, he left 12 children with 5 daughters in his mourning, it is clear that Naimatullah Khan's wife died in 1994.
Meanwhile, the Jamaat-e-Islami spokesman said that the funeral of the former City Nazim will be offered tomorrow (February 26) and the funeral will take place after his son and daughter-in-law come from abroad.
Upon his death, Dr. Miraj-ul-Hadi Siddiqui said that when Naimatullah Khan became the host of Karachi, he worked for the development of the city and gave the master plan to the city.
He said that in addition, he started welfare activities in the drought-hit areas of Thar and also established a hospital for the poor.
He said that apart from this, Naimatullah Khan filed petitions in the public interest in the judiciary against China cutting on parks and other charity plots in the city.
Former City Nazim's funeral will be offered tomorrow (February 26th) and the funeral will take place after his son-in-law and daughter-in-law are abroad, spokesman Jamaat Islami said.
