Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi brings Telephonic contacted with French Foreign Minister John Evo Lou Duran and Spanish counterpart Arancha González Laya to discuss the situation and ways to cope with the outbreak of the Corona virus..

The two counterparts discussed in detail the cooperation to prevent the spread of the Corona virus and cope with the global disaster.

External Affairs Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed deep sorrow and regret over the loss of France due to the Corona virus and praised the French initiative in overcoming the Corona virus.

He also thanked the French Foreign Minister for providing timely medical care and proper care to 13 Pakistanis affected by Corona virus in France.

The Foreign Minister apprised the French counterpart of the action taken by Pakistan to deal with the global outbreak.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the number of Corona virus patients is increasing in Pakistan, Covid 19 has spread to almost all countries of the world and this situation needs a coordinated approach from the international community.

In view of the situation in Iran, the Foreign Minister needs to immediately remove sanctions and provide humanitarian assistance to Iran so that Iranian authorities can save precious human lives.

The Foreign Minister also expressed deep concern that lockdown on communication and mobilization is underway in occupied Kashmir and that 80 million Kashmiris are missing vital information and necessary medical supplies to prevent Corona virus.
