Five accused arrested in charges of violence on Maulana Nasir Madani

Police have arrested five suspects in charge of torture on religious scholar Maulana Nasir Madani.

On Monday evening, March 16, in Kharian area of Gujarat district, the accused made a video and tortured Mohammad Nasir Madani.

Mohammad Nasir Madani filed a case against the suspects in the police station in Mozang Lahore, in which police arrested the suspects and recovered arms from their possession.

According to the FIR, a man named Rizwan Mula Gujjar invited Nasir Madani for a prayer ceremony in Kharian. When Maulana Nasir Madani arrived at Kharian, the suspects first served food to Maulana and his driver from the famous Kharian hotel.

Later, he was taken to the camp and locked in a room where about ten masked men also arrived and attacked Maulana Nasir Madani and tortured him with the worst violence by poles and pipes. The accused also making video of Maulana Nasir Madani in a naked state and then signed two simple papers by him.

The accused also obtained the password of Maulana Nasir Madani's social media accounts and hacked his YouTube channel.

Allama Nasir Madani said that the accused had also threatened to kill me in case of legal action and said that the day you went to the media, that day would be the last day of your life and we Can also kill you in Lahore. 

It should be noted that Chief Minister Punjab Usman Bazdar has also taken notice of the incident.
