Fire Broke Out in Three Bogies of Tezgam Express

At least 38 people were killed and 18 were injured when a fire broke out in three bogies of Tezigam Express near Liaqutpur, Rahim Yar Khan.

Rescue officials said that the fire broke out due to a cylinder burst in the train's bogie, after which the fire retrieved 3 bogeys. Fire brigade and rescue teams are busy in extinguishing the fire.

The crews rushed the bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital, where the injured received first aid.

Officials say the train's bogies Nos. 3, 4 and 5 were set on fire, which included the majority of people traveling to the Raiwind Tablighi gathering.
The Tezgam Express was traveling from Karachi to Rawalpindi when an accident occurred near Tanawari Station

Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed said that 38 people were killed in the accident while the transport of trains was stopped on both tracks

According to eyewitnesses, members of the Tablighi party were riding in the train, preparing food on the cylinder in the morning that the cylinder exploded.


Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed regret over the train accident and directed the injured to provide good medical help.
