Despite the restrictions, health check-ups will begin in a few weeks, said Asad Umar

Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umer has said that the lockdown and closures have helped prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, but nevertheless, a health check-up may begin in the coming weeks.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Asad Umer said that the Pakistani nation has been following much of the orders and instructions are given by us in terms of security measures, which is a welcome thing.
He said that we lack the discipline but the Pakistani nation is proving that when it comes to the betterment of the nation and society during difficult times, our nation imposes discipline on itself.
However, they issued a warning lest people should be satisfied after what appears to be an improvement and do not continue the lockdown because if it does not, there will be a loss.
The Federal Minister said that if we continue this discipline we can achieve better results and hope that we will have full success.
"We decided to extend Lockdown until April 14, in consultation with the Prime Minister and the relevant authorities, including the four provincial chiefs, and we have reviewed how to prevent or reduce the spread of the disease from lockdown," he said.
However, he explained that the decline does not mean that the disease is not spreading, the reduction means that the faster the disease could spread if there were no restrictions, precautionary measures were not taken. The spread is quite low.
"The bad news is that despite the low prevalence of the virus and the outbreaks, we are seeing a few weeks ahead of today that our health system will begin to test and it may decline, but currently, there is no situation, however, we are seeing the danger ahead.
He also expressed concern over the impact of the weakening class on the downside, fearing that the effects on the virus economy would be difficult to endure in the long run.
The Minister said that these closures are causing economic impacts especially on those who are not wealthy, it is affecting the poor working class as well as the middle class. It is very difficult to endure for a long time.
Asad Umer said that our ability to test Corona was very limited, but now we are increasing our capacity and in the last four days, the number of tests on a daily basis has increased by two and a half times and this capacity is increasing rapidly. To increase.
"We have to protect the emergency and medical staff working in the ICU because through them we have to protect and treat other people, it's our soldiers and the troop that we have to protect and they Arrangements for are being rapidly increased.
The Federal Minister for Planning also said that the Prime Minister's voluntary program has also reaffirmed the participation of millions of people and that the system of reaching the 20 million poorest people has also been regularized.
Asad Umer further clarified that it is currently premature to say whether sanctions will be increased after April 14 and that decisions will be taken next week.
It should be remembered that Pakistan, like the rest of the world, has been badly affected by the Coronavirus and in most parts of the country, there is a complete or partial lockdown.
With each passing day, the number of cases reported in the country is increasing and now there are 3,123 people affected and 45 people have died in the country.
Fortunately, the virus in Pakistan is not spreading more aggressively than other countries in the world, where so far 66,000 deaths and more than 12 million people have been infected worldwide.
