Coronavirus test now possible in Karachi
KARACHI: The DOW University has import coronavirus kits before that Corona test facility was only in NIH Islamabad, DOW university is the first health care institutions where this facility is available.
According to the details, the University import the coronavirus kits. the imported kits are used only on method of the advanced technology of PCR. Earlier, the coronavirus test facility was only available in NIH Islamabad.
DOW university is the first health care institute in Karachi, where coronavirus tests are currently available.
Dow University Vice-Chancellor Prof Mohammad Saeed Qureshi directed to import kits from the Korea coronavirus test in early January in view of the outbreak of Coronavirus from Wuhan China.
The Novel Corona Virus 2019 is currently the most dangerous disease in the world, whose tests cannot be possible without strict protective measures and authoritative procedures, so only those suspected in the isolation ward will be tested.
It is to be remembered that on the directives of the Health Department of Sindh Government, Dow University has initially been developed with 10-bed isolation wards.
