Corona Virus: Emirates citizens insist on working from home instead of office.
Abu Dhabi: The Corona virus is a symbol of fear around the world, with 85% of UAE citizens supporting a 'work from home' to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
According to a foreign news agency report, the Corona virus that has spread from China to the worldwide so far has killed around 4,000 people and affected more than 100,000 people, Emirates Citizens have called for work at home to avoid the virus which is a sign of fear.
According to local media reports, the public opinion poll was conducted on social media forums, in which 89% of citizens voting on Facebook, 84% voting on Instagram and 82% voting on Twitter to express their opinion to support work from home.
Media reports say 17,500 people participated in public opinion on social media.
Speaking on the poll, spokesman for the National Institute for Natural Disasters, Crisis and Emergency Affairs, Saif Jumah Al-Zahri, said, "Efforts are being made to arrange work from home with the cooperation of different organizations."
Various companies said in a statement issued on their account said, that "They think it is appropriate to give their employees a chance for a work from home and they will encourage it, It would be better for employees to work at home in this environment and not go to the offices'.
It is thought that the number of people infected with the deadly virus that causes death worldwide has exceeded to 114,000.
