The Corona virus test came out positive in 27 people while screening 35 people from Tablighi Jamaat at Raiwind's Tablighi Center, while a member of the same party held at Layyah's Quarantina knife-injured a police officer in an attempt to escape.

Before leaving for the 3-day, 40-day, or 4-month preaching mission, 1200 people, including 500 foreigners, participated in the 5-day gathering and camped in an empty space opposite the center.

So when the organizers' intention changed and they stopped the meeting four days ago, the lockdown announced by the provincial government was implemented and no transport or air service was available to take the participants home.

On the other hand, a member of the Tablighi party in Layyah attacked a station house officer (SHO) with a knife in an attempt to escape.

Later the police and the district administration met with the organizers, who with their permission surrounded the center and no one was allowed to leave or leave for 3 days.

On the other hand, the Embassy of Thailand in Islamabad contacted the authorities through the Foreign Ministry to evacuate 50 of its citizens at the Tablighi center.

Deputy Commissioner of Lahore, Danish Afzal, said that he had sealed the Tablighi center 3 days ago and screened the people there and according to health officials, 27 of the 35 screened people so far have produced positive results.

"We have set up a quarantine center in the preaching center and if the number of patients increases, they will be shifted to Kalashah Kaku Quarantine Center," he added.

He further said that the suspected patients in Kalasha Kaku will be kept in isolation and those whose tests came out positive will be shifted to the Field Hospital of the Expo Center located in Johar Town.

On the other hand, Layyah's administration, after assembling all the teams present at the Tablighi Mission in the district, declared the local center a quarantine center with 235 people.

Last night, the police received information that some people were trying to escape from the center to which SHO Mohammad Ashraf Makhi accompanied him and a member of Tablighi party fled with a knife.

The sub-inspector of the police, Nadeem, said the SHOs were injured who were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital in Leh where they are in good condition.

Police later arrested the suspect in Swabi District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
