CM Sindh refuses to give the further name for IG. In addition, sources said that there was a telephonic conversation between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah yesterday, in which a decision regarding the change of IG Sindh in the federal cabinet was discussed.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister requested the Prime Minister that we have given the name for the IG Sindh to appoint any of them.
According to sources, the chief minister said that he would not give further names for IG Sindh.
In addition, Information Minister Sindh and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Saeed Ghani spoke to the Maidens of Karachi in Karachi and said that we would not give further names for Inspector General (IG) Sindh.
Saeed Ghani said that if IG Sindh had to be changed 3 years ago, the province would have been obliged to consult the federal government.
He said the reasons for the change in IG Sindh were stated that the cabinet made a decision and consent was also made in one of the three names.
Saeed Ghani said that after the Prime Minister's agreement, 2 names were sent and the Prime Minister was out of the country and was asked to resolve the matter till Monday.
The PPP leader said that the Prime Minister came to Karachi and met the Chief Minister Sindh, which also agreed to the change of IG Sindh and then the matter was put before the cabinet, it seems that the cabinet does not trust the Prime Minister.
He said that the change of IG in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has not been approved by the cabinet. IG changes in five minutes.
Saeed Ghani said that now the Cabinet has asked Governor Sindh to speak, Governor will not consult Sindh. It is not in the law.
The PPP leader said that the deadlock in this regard took place after December 28 while we will not give further names for IG Sindh.
