Brendon McCullum exposes possible Indian conspiracy

WELLINGTON: Former Kiwi captain Brendon McCullum has unveiled a possible Indian conspiracy, saying the Coronavirus could delay this year's scheduled T20 World Cup until next year, while the IPL in October and November. Every effort will be made to make this possible.

According to media reports, Brendon McCullum said that if he was asked to place a bet, he would be in danger of holding the T20 World Cup because in the current situation, apart from the 16 teams and their support staff, the broadcasters are different. It will not be easy to take them to places where they are not even sure that the mega event can be played behind closed doors.

The head coach of IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders said that he thinks a window could be found for the T20 World Cup in 2012 which will open the door for the IPL to be held this year. 

The former Kiwi wicketkeeper-batsman said that holding the IPL behind closed doors is not out of the question as there is no shortage of people watching matches on TV in cricket-crazy India. He said that the ICC and world cricket need spectators to host matches but there is no commercial problem for India where there are enough people to watch cricket on TV so the T20 World Cup for IPL next year. It can be moved.
