Bollywood actor Irfan Khan has passed away

Well, known Bollywood actor Irfan Khan has passed away at the age of 53. The news of his sudden demise has shocked and saddened the fans.

According to Indian media reports, Irfan Khan was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday when his condition suddenly deteriorated.

According to the report, the actor had a colon infection for which he was admitted to the hospital.

The actor's death was announced by his close friend and director Shojat Sarkar on the social networking site Twitter.

Shojat Sarkar wrote in his tweet that "My dear friend, you fought well, I will always be proud of you, we will definitely meet again".

He also expressed condolences to Irfan Khan's family.

It may be recalled that Irfan Khan was diagnosed with Neuro Endocrine Disease in March 2018 and he was shifted from India to the UK for treatment.

At that time, Irfan Khan had said on social media that he had been feeling unwell for the past several days and he initially found out that he was suffering from a dangerous or contagious disease.

However, he clarified that it is not yet fully known what disease he is suffering from and at what stage he has reached.

It may be recalled that he returned to India in 2019 after recovering and after that his film 'English Medium' was also released which proved to be successful.

A few days ago, Irfan Khan's mother had also passed away in the Indian city of Jaipur and there were reports that Irfan could not attend his mother's funeral due to lockdown.

Irfan Khan started his career in television and theater, later appearing for a brief role in the 1988 film 'Salam Bombay' and this was the beginning of his film career.

He has appeared in successful films like 'Hasil', 'Maqbool', 'Life in a Metro', 'The Lunch Box', 'Haider', 'Peco', 'Talwar' and 'Hindi Medium'.

He has also won awards such as the Indian National Award and the Filmfare Award in his career.

His last film 'English Medium' was released this year in which Irfan Khan's work was highly appreciated by analysts and fans.

Irfan Khan has appeared in Bollywood as well as Hollywood movies. He has acted in famous Hollywood movies like 'Slim Dog Millionaire', 'Life of Pi', 'The Amazing Spy Deadman' and 'Jeruic World'. ۔

Following the news of the actor's death, showbiz personalities expressed their grief on social media.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his tweet that Irfan Khan left everyone very quickly, he was extremely talented and a great companion.

Priyanka Chopra also shared a photo of her film '7 Khoon Maaf' in which Irfan Khan worked with her.

Actor Karan Kher said that he was deeply saddened to hear the news of Irfan Khan's death. He was a great actor.

Tiger Shroff also expressed his sorrow over the news.

Actress Huma Qureshi wrote that Irfan Khan will always be remembered.
