Another scandal after theft of wheat worth Rs 15 billion in Sindh

KARACHI: Another scandal has erupted after the theft of wheat worth Rs 15 billion during various government warehouses and transfers in Sindh.
According to details, after the theft of wheat, another crisis is going to arise due to corruption and mismanagement of Sindh government.
Government sources said that 40 per cent less wheat is being procured by the Sindh government which will affect the entire country, especially Karachi and Hyderabad have been declared sensitive where there will be severe shortage of wheat.
According to sources, an artificial flour and wheat crisis is being created in the country like in January this year. Earlier, a crisis of wheat and flour was created in Karachi and Hyderabad.
The federation has expressed concern over how to deal with the crisis of mismanagement and corruption in Sindh and a high-level consultative process has been launched.
On the other hand, NAB is also fully active on the issue of wheat and flour theft in Sindh. NAB is continuing its investigation into the wheat theft and flour crisis in Sindh.
