A delegation of the federal government has arrived in Bahadarabad under the leadership of Asad Omar to celebrate the United National Movement Pakistan, where a meeting between the leaders of the two parties is underway.
Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the Convenor of the United National Movement Pakistan, had announced his departure from the federal cabinet yesterday and left his IT ministry if the demands of the federal government were not met.
A delegation of ruling Tehreek-e-Insaf Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led by Asad Omar arrived at MQM Pakistan's office Bahadur Abad along with Firdous Shamim, Halim Adil Shaikh, Khurram Sher Zaman, Member National Assembly Aftab Malik and other members.
Speaking after reaching the Bahadur Abad, members of the government delegation said they would try to persuade Khalid Maqbool to withdraw his resignation so that he could begin working as a federal minister.
Contrary to tradition, when the PTI delegation arrived in Bahadurabad, they were not welcomed by the MQM, after which discussions between the two sides began.
