Karachi: A 6-year-old child suffering from seizures in Larkana died.
It may be recalled that the infected child was undergoing treatment at the Hassanin National Institute of Children's Health (NICH) for the past three weeks.
According to a report published in Dawn newspaper, the child was not treated due to a lack of medical facilities in Larkana, after which the affected child was brought to Karachi on November 16.
According to doctors at NICH, Hasanin continued treatment for 27 days, during which a panel of experts treated him and underwent several operations.
Doctors did not confirm, however, that she had a seizure disorder, but said the baby had a "massive infection" and had suffered from nocturnal feces.
