Leading Pakistani singer Atif Aslam and singer Aima Baig will evoke the magic of their voices in the official anthem of the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) while composer Abdullah Siddiqui has composed the anthem.
This official anthem for PSL 2022 will be released next week, this anthem will be played on venues before the event and during the matches.
The anthem reflects the enthusiasm of cricket fans for hosting PSL 7 and will be a source of entertainment for cricket fans all over the world, including Pakistan.
This will be the first time that Atif Aslam will sing the official anthem of the Pakistan Super League while Aima Baig has also awakened the magic of art in the official anthem of the last edition 'Grove Meera'.
Producer Abdullah Siddiqui said that composing the PSL anthem is like a dream for any musician and he is grateful to PCB for giving this award.
He further said that Atif Aslam and Aima Baig are both well-known singers and he is very proud to work with them for this anthem.
Abdullah Siddiqui said that he has tried to compose an anthem that is in tune with the spirit of the game. He is sure that cricket fans will love this anthem.
Remember that Pakistan Super League started in 2015 and its first song was released in the voice of singer Ali Zafar.
PSL First's song 'Ab Khel Ke Dakha' in the voice of Ali Zafar was highly appreciated and that is why the first three PSL songs were released in the voice of Ali Zafar.
PSL second song 'Ab Khel Jame Ga' was released in January 2017 while PSL third song 'Dil Se Jan Laga De' was released in January 2018 and all three of Ali Zafar's songs were liked overall.
PSL Fourth song 'Khel Deewana Ka' was released in January 2019 with the voices of actor Fawad Khan and the Young Desi Band.
PSL Fifth song was heavily criticized while PSL sixth song 'Grove Meera' was also heavily criticized by the fans.
