In a recent interview with German broadcaster Deutsche Welle, Neelam Munir said that she will be seen playing a double role in the movie 'Chakar' which will be released on Eid-ul-Fitr. She said that she will be appearing on the big screen after a long time, so she is playing a double role. According to her, the item song included in 'Chakkar' is according to the story of the film, it was not included unnecessarily and all the dancers in this song are women.

In response to a question, Neelam Munir said that she has been taking time off from work during Ramadan for the last two years, so that she can spend time with her family, including praying at home. Referring to the family, Neelam Munir said that the girls of her family were not even allowed to post pictures on social media. The actress said that she belongs to a Pakhtun family and her sisters do not even share their photos on social media but they got permission somehow and that is how they came to showbiz.
In response to a question, she said that she had been interested in acting since childhood and wanted to be a heroine, now only fans can tell whether she has become a heroine or not.
