Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE)
Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) is under the control of the government of Pakistan. Federal board is responsible for the commencement of exams of intermediate and secondary education in Pakistan and abroad. This board has been working since 1975. This board is, also, responsible for the selection of invigilators and superintendents during exams. Moreover, it announces the results according to its sovereignty.
The board have authority over the primary, middle, Ninth class, Matric, ICOM, FA, FSC and ICS. First, it superscribes the courses of these classes. Second, conduct their exams. Third, appoint examination staff and lastly declare the results.
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Faisalabad (BISE, Faisalabad)
Punjab, which is the largest province of Pakistan by population and second-largest by land, has eight educational boards. BISE Faisalabad is one of them.BISE Faisalabad is inspecting board of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)education. It has been working since 1988 and has authority over Jhang, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh and Faisalabad, which are the districts of division, Faisalabad.
This board holds exams of matric and intermediate classes and announces the results of different classes according to schedule. Moreover, it is also accountable for managing sports for students.
Board of Intermediate and secondary education, Lahore (BISE, Lahore)
BISE Lahore also belongs to Punjab. It is established in 1954 and considered the oldest board of Pakistan. Before its establishment, all educational matters were handled by University of Punjab, Lahore. But, due to an immense increase in the number of students, the Lahore board was established. Now it has control over Kasur, Okara, Sheikhopora and Nankana sahib.
It holds the examination of 5th, 8th, 9th, matric and inter classes. Almost, 2 million candidates appear every year through this board. Therefore, it is considered the biggest board of Pakistan.
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Karachi (BSEK)
Sindh, which is the second-largest province of Pakistan by population after Punjab, has six educational boards. Karachi board is one of them. It was established in 1974 by the government of Sindh. It works to elevate standards of secondary education in Karachi.
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Quetta
Board of intermediate and secondary education, Quetta is an autonomous board. Moreover, it is the only board of Baluchistan for intermediate and secondary education. Also, it has control over Kandahar, Makran, Kalat and any other region of Baluchistan. This board is responsible to manage all matters related to education.
