Cooked rice with kipper (smoked herring)

I made cooked rice using a famous kipper in England.

3 go

1 sheet

Green onion

1 swing

1 piece of 5 cm square

Soy sauce

1 tbsp and 1/2 tbsp

Sweet sake

1 tbsp and 1/2 tbsp

1 tbsp and 1/2 tbsp

How to make Rice with Kipper

  • Raise the sharpened rice into a colander and let it drain for about 15 minutes. Put rice in a clay pot, add seasoning and mix.
  • Soak the kelp in a certain amount of water. Bake the Atka mackerel on the grill for 4-5 minutes to brown it.
  • Pour kelp water into a clay pot, place the baked kipper and kelp on top, cover and heat on high heat for about 8 minutes. When it boils, cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Once cooked, steam for 10 minutes.
  • When it’s done, carefully remove the bones, peel only the body and skin, add the green onions, and mix well with the rice.

Grilled kippers, earthy colored spread, and parsley

Will Holland’s barbecued kipper formula hoists this humble smoked fish to a wondrous thing, seasoning in an earthy colored spread for a magnificently sumptuous informal breakfast dish. My informal breakfast menu at Coast is brimming with dishes I’d love to appreciate while sitting on the patio sitting above the seashore and sound: ‘Kippers are a unique little something that needs to highlight on an early lunch menu. You can’t beat their sweet delicious smoky tissue, suffocated in earthy colored margarine, gotten done with a lot of newly slashed parsley presented with a major lump of silo toast.’
