Easy Mobile Password: Youngsters Who Blackmail Saudi Women reached to Their end. Dubai: Court sends punishment to two youths who blackmail Saudi woman in UAE
According to a Gulf News report, two Dubai-based youngsters stole a Saudi woman's mobile phone from her bag on a bus and then started blackmailing her with an unlocked mobile.
The accused threatened the woman that if she disobeyed their demands and did not pay 2,000 dirhams, they would share all the pictures on the internet.
According to the report, the woman refused to pay the accused, they shared private photos on social media after which the woman lodged a complaint with the police.
According to police, the suspects are from the country of Syria, both youths said that the password was opened when they entered the mobile phone from 1 to 6 digits after which they saw private pictures of the woman.
According to the report, the incident with the 28-year-old woman took place in August 2019.
The woman informed the court that while travelling on the bus, she had two bags containing the necessary supplies when I got to my destination and found the phone, the mobile was not in the bag, shortly after the call to my friend and the suspects said they have my phone.
The Saudi woman told the court that the accused sent the pictures and videos of my mobile to a friend and threatened that if she did not pay 2,000 dirhams, they would share the whole thing on the internet.
"After I paid the money, they shared the photos on Twitter account a few days later. After watching the photos, I informed the Dubai Police of all the incident.
Police presented the accused in court on Sunday, where they confessed to their crime, after the judge confessed to the crime, sentenced the two accused to three years in jail under the terms of blackmail, theft and a fine of 23,000 dirhams. The court ruled that the accused have 15 days to file an appeal.
