When It Came to Showbiz, Women Were Harassed in the Industry, Said Anusha Ashraf

Anoushey Ashraf, a model, actress, and radio jockey (RJ), has disclosed that when she first entered the profession, women from non-film families or the middle class were routinely harassed.
Anoushey Ashraf is seen openly discussing female harassment, rape occurrences, and domestic abuse. She has previously tweeted about harassment. She revealed in a recent interview with the Express Tribune that she had watched other women being sexually abused and recognised that this had occurred to her as well.
The actress stated that she did not understand the meaning of the 'feminist' movement at the start of her career, but that when women used the term of the movement to describe episodes of exploitation that befell them, they realised what it meant.
The ONE time I had my behind pinched at the market was when I was covered from head to toe, dupatta on, zero makeup and oil in my hair...RAPISTS rape people, not outfits. Save the behayai rant for another day please. Stop deviating and victim blaming! #MotowayIncident

The 'Me Too' campaign and the 'Feminism' movement, according to Anoushey Ashraf, have in fact become the voice of women, with women speaking openly about the injustices that have befallen them. When the women began talking to them about the events of sexual exploitation, the actress claimed that they discovered that everything had occurred to them as well, and that they had been sexually molested as children.

Anoushey Ashraf did not go into detail about the exploitation she experienced as a child, only to say that it happens to practically every woman or girl. The model and actress also said that when she first entered the industry, she witnessed many women being exploited, including ladies from the middle and lower classes who were harassed.
According to Anoushey Ashraf, women in the entertainment industry have been harassed in the past by being stopped on the street, and now they are being chastised on social media. The actress recalled that in the past, women from non-film backgrounds, as well as middle and lower-income families, were often mocked, exploited, and paid less in show business.
