The Sindh Government Released Money for Omar Sharif's Treatment Abroad
The Sindh government has issued a notification to provide Rs 4 crore on emergency basis for the treatment of legendary actor, host and comedian Omar Sharif, 68, from the United States.
Omar Sharif has been ill for the past one month and is undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi. The Sindh government had announced a few days ago to treat Omar Sharif and now the provincial government has also issued a notification of money for the actor.
A notification issued by the Sindh Finance Department said that money was being released for the treatment of Omar Sharif, including an air ambulance, for his transfer from Pakistan to the United States. According to the notification, an amount of Rs 4 crore is being released for Omar Sharif on the suggestions of the Health Department and the Chief Minister's Secretariat.
The notification states that funds were released from various relief programs for the treatment of Omar Sharif. Earlier, Omar Sharif's family had posted on his official Facebook page that the Sindh government had arranged for an air ambulance. According to Omar Sharif's wife Zarin Ghazal, arrangements have been made for an air ambulance to transfer the actor to the United States on the instructions of Sindh Chief Minister. He is waiting to get a visa.
The family had said that the visa issuance arrangements have been completed and they are likely to get the visa within a day. According to Zarin Ghazal, Omar Sharif will be airlifted to the United States for treatment from September 15 to 16, where actress Reema Khan's husband, Dr. Tariq Shehab, has arranged for her treatment.
Omar Sharif has a heart condition and has been in hospital for the past month. Initially, his family last month denied reports that the actor was ill or hospitalized, but later admitted that Omar Sharif was undergoing treatment. When Omar Sharif's condition deteriorated in the hospital, he sent a video message to Prime Minister Imran Khan seeking help for treatment abroad.
The federal government had set up a medical board to treat Omar Sharif after he sought help, and now the actor's family has said that all arrangements to go abroad are almost complete and he left for the United States in two days. shall be.
