Supporting her sister's controversial tweet cost Kangana dearly
A few days ago, the Twitter account of Rangoli Chandel, sister of famous Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, was suspended after she tweeted anti-Muslim, but now a complaint has been lodged with the police against Kangana Ranaut.
According to the Hindustan Times, Kangana Ranaut had recently released a video in support of her sister Rangoli Chandel.
In her video, Kangana Ranaut said that if there was any tweet that could be called provocative, she and Rangoli herself would apologize to the public.
"My sister Rangoli had criticized those who were attacking doctors and police," she said.
According to Kangana Ranaut, personalities like Farah Ali Khan and Reema Kagti made false allegations against her sister.
The report said that Mumbai-based advocate Ali Kashif Khan had lodged a complaint with the police against Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel.
He alleged that Kangana Ranaut was using her popularity and money to promote hatred in India instead of using it in the right place and she was looking for her own advantage.
Kangana Ranaut has not yet issued a statement regarding the complaint.
It may be recalled that Rangoli Chandel, who is also Kangana's manager, had made a controversial tweet on his Twitter account about a member of the Tablighi Jamaat in India while also trying to incite people against the Maulvi and the media.
Apart from Rangoli Chandel, Indian wrestler, Babita Pughat had also issued a controversial statement on Twitter regarding Muslims in India, after which she was severely criticized and her account was requested to be suspended.
