While Bollywood and Indian personalities have expressed grief over the demise of Indian musician Wajid Ali, Pakistani showbiz personalities have also expressed grief over his death.
Wajid Ali died on June 1 at a private hospital in Mumbai. He was admitted to the hospital after showing symptoms of kidney disease and coronavirus.
Wajid Ali was the brother of renowned musician Sajid Ali and the duo was called Sajid Wajid, who composed music for dozens of film songs.
Wajid Ali also composed music for Indian film songs by renowned Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
Expressing grief over the death of Wajid Ali, who composed the music for his songs, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan also prayed for the forgiveness of the musician in his video on Twitter.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan appeared very emotional in the short video and he described Wajid Ali as more than his brothers and said that the grief of his death will now live on for the rest of his life.

The singer called Wajid Ali the best musician and said that he was quick to say goodbye to life.

Like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, singer Ali Zafar also expressed grief over the death of Wajid Ali and said that he spent his days with him.
He still remembers the day when Wajid Ali composed 'Dashkiyon'.
Apart from Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Adnan Siddiqui also expressed grief over the death of Wajid Ali.
Adnan Siddiqui shared a photo of Sajid and Wajid in his Instagram post and also wrote his memoirs with them and in a long post expressed his grief over the death of Wajid Ali.
Describing this year as the most damaging for him, the actor wrote that he lost his friend and brother Wajid Ali Khan in the same year and with his departure, many things between him and Wajid remained unfulfilled.
