Noor Jahan's House Should Be Turned Into a Museum, Shaan Shahid

Leading Pakistani actor Shaan Shahid has said that the government should turn the house of Malika-e-Tarannum Noor Jahan into a museum. It may be recalled that the government had recently announced an allocation of Rs 5 crore for the restoration of historical sites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The historic sites that were earmarked for restoration included the ancestral homes of legendary Bollywood actors Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar.
Apart from Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar, Peshawar is also home to other Bollywood actors, including Shah Rukh and Vinod Khanna.
On this news, actor Shaan Shahid said in a tweet on the social networking website Twitter that unfortunately, Madam Noor Jahan's house has become a plaza, our legends also deserve it.
She Sold that house out of her own will ,where as the other house in question is a totally different story.

On Shaan Shahid's tweet, Actor Vasay Chaudhry pointed out in his tweet that Noor Jahan had sold that house voluntarily while his other house is a completely different story.
In response, Shaan Shahid said that the government should have paid for the house and turned it into a museum.
However, Vasay Chaudhry did not agree with him and wrote that he disagreed with him. The government had awarded Madam Noor Jahan with civil awards and other honors in her lifetime.

It was her private property and
Buying her house ( specially when she was not even in the need for money) doesn't make sense , given the economic situation of our country.
He said that this house was his private property and there was no justification for buying his house (especially when he did not need money) and the economic situation of our country was not like that. Malika-e-Tarannum Noor Jahan died on December 23, 2000 at the age of 74.
