Famous actress Sajal Aly has said that marriage is a risk whether it is love or arrange marriage.
While the actress spoke to the American showbiz website 'Deadline' to promote her upcoming film 'What Love Got to Do With It?, Sajal Aly described working in the film as a miracle.
Sajal Aly spoke to the website along with the film's producer, Jemima Goldsmith, and Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi and also talked about her role.
The actress said that she had played the role of a Pakistani girl named Maymouna in the film, which moves to Britain after an arranged marriage, where various events happen in her life.
Sajal Aly said she never thought she would ever work with a legendary actress like Shabana Azmi.
She also said that it was a miracle for him to work under director Shekhar Kapur's direction and Jemima's producership, as she had never thought of working with personalities like his.
In response to a question, she said that women's roles are more important in Pakistani dramas, unlike Hollywood and Bollywood films.
Similarly, in response to another question, she said that she likes love marriages, she only likes love, and she likes only love marriages.
At the same time, she clarified that whether it is a marriage of choice or an arranged marriage, it is a risk in both cases.

Notably, Sajal Aly portrays a Pakistani girl in "What's Love Got To Do With It?" who gets married off in an arranged marriage and moves to Britain.
The movie is about a woman who makes movies and tries to find a husband through dating apps, but she always ends up with the wrong men.
According to the story of the movie, the filmmaker girl "Zoey" (Lily James) later moves to Lahore from London to marry her old neighbor, a Pakistani boy named Shazad Latif, as her mother (Emma Thompson) asked her to do, and she meets Sajal Aly. The couple decides to videotape their wedding.
The film depicts Pakistani culture and customs and shows how an arranged marriage can turn into a marriage of love.
The film also features songs by Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, while it depicts several Pakistani scenes and is shot on a simulated set of Lahore in London.
The film is being directed by Bollywood filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, who previously directed the 2007 biopic (Elizabeth: The Golden Age) and won the Oscar for Best Production.
