Lies are a major cause of marriage breakdown in the showbiz industry: Sanam Marvi

Famous Pakistani singer Sanam Marvi filed a petition in court earlier this month seeking her husband Hamid Ali and has now recorded her statement.

During the court of Judge Sana Afzal Wahla, Sanam Marvi recorded his statement and said that the main reason for the marriage breakdown in the showbiz industry lies.

Sanam Marvi says she does not want to be with her husband anymore.

He requested the court to issue the Khalil degree, after which the court reserved its decision.

It is to be remembered that Sanam Marvi filed a petition with her husband Hamid Khan on February 7 through a lawyer in the Family Court of Lahore.

The singer alleged in her plea that husbands use bad language against them, including torture, and she was tired of tolerating her husband's behaviour.

The petition filed by Sanam Marvi stated that the couple were married in full Islamic tradition and the couple also has 3 children, causing the singer to tolerate her husband's violence.

After that, Hamid Khan submitted his seven-page response to the court.

Hamid Khan said that he has never abused Sanam Marvi.

In his response, he said he regularly spends on spouses and children.

Hamid Khan requested the court to dismiss his wife's plea.

It is believed that Sanam is the second marriage of Marvi, her first husband Aftab Ahmed was killed in 2009 in the Sindh capital Karachi.

Sanam Marvi got fame from Coke Studio Season 4 after which he made his name in live performances including TV and Radio.

Sanam Marvi started her singing career after her second marriage to Pakistan Television (PTV) Lahore.
