Leading Singer Alamgir Haq Denies Death Rumors

Leading singer Alamgir has dismissed rumors of his death on social media, urging fans not to believe them. Rumors of the legendary singer's demise had been circulating since Friday and Alamgir denied it in a Facebook post.
Keep in mind that Alamgir is considered one of the founders of pop music in Pakistan and the songs of that time are still very popular. In a Facebook post, Alamgir wrote, "I'm getting a lot of phone calls because of the news about me. Don't believe the news, I'm fine and living in Karachi"
It should be noted that Alamgir's full name is Alamgir Haq and he became a part of Pakistan Television in the 1970s and in 1973 he got fame from Albela Rahi. He was also awarded the Medal of Excellence by the Government of Pakistan in 2013.
Prior to Alamgir's Facebook post, actress Bushra Ansari had also denied the rumors of the singer's death by sharing a video of a phone conversation with Alamgir in an Instagram post.
Bushra Ansari jokingly said, "You are a hundred years old and you can't leave the world now," to which Alamgir laughed and said, "I will not die before 200 years." "I was horrified to hear these rumors. I want to tell everyone not to spread such rumors," Bushra Ansari said.
"We have already heard a lot of bad news and do not want to hear anything like this again. You are very brave and have been fighting your illness for so long. I love you, be safe," he said.
